Can Keto Fit Into Family Meals?

One challenge I imagine many people face is preparing different meals for themselves and the rest of the family. Cooking twice every evening doesn't sound very appealing! How do you make keto work at home when other family members eat normally? Do you prepare shared meals with a few adjustments, or does everyone have completely different menus?

I usually find that the easiest way is to keep one shared meal and make a few small adjustments. For example, we can all enjoy chicken, roasted vegetables or a hearty salad, while I swap potatoes or rice for a low carb option. I also keep keto sweeteners handy when making desserts so I don't feel left out of family treats. It takes a little planning at first, but once everyone gets used to it, there's no need to cook two completely different dinners every night!
