I'm in the early stages of planning a kitchen refresh and I've been digging through older threads on here trying to find names that keep coming up. One abbreviation that popped up a couple of times was KBCPA, and I can't tell if that's a company people actually recommend or just someone's shorthand that got repeated until it looked like a recommendation. The kitchen isn't a full gut job, more of a cabinet and countertop situation with some electrical work that needs sorting, so I'm wary of hiring a big remodel firm that'll try to sell me a whole new kitchen when I just need the tired bits fixed. If anyone has used them or knows who they are, I'd love to hear whether they're the type to take on a smaller job or if they only want the big projects. Also curious whether they handle the permit side themselves or leave that to you, because that's the part I'm least looking forward to.
