So my 2011 C200 has been making this weird clunking noise from the front end whenever I go over speed bumps, and the local guy near my place in Mussafah told me it's the control arms but I'm not entirely convinced he actually checked properly. I've had bad luck before where a shop replaced a bunch of stuff and the noise was still there, so now I'm paranoid about getting ripped off. A colleague at work mentioned he takes his E-Class somewhere in Musaffah for genuine Mercedes parts and repair in Musaffah and said the guy actually diagnoses things before throwing parts at it, but I lost the name of the place. Has anyone here used a workshop in Musaffah they'd actually recommend for older Mercs? I don't mind paying a bit more if the work is solid, I just want someone who knows these cars and won't waste my time. Also curious if anyone has dealt with the diagnostic fees situation, some places charge you just to look at it which feels a bit much.
