I've been putting off my 320i's next service because the two places closest to me have both given me reason to hesitate, one quoted without even looking at the car and the other couldn't tell me what oil they'd be using. A colleague keeps telling me the workshops out near ICAD are where the proper European car people are, and that the drive is worth it for work that's actually done right, but I'm trying to work out if that's genuine advice or just him being loyal to his own area. I'm looking for Expert European car maintenance near ICAD if anyone has a personal recommendation, mainly because I'd rather build a relationship with one garage than keep shopping around every time something needs doing. Has anyone made that drive regularly for servicing and did it feel worth it compared to somewhere closer? Also curious whether the better places tend to book out weeks in advance, because if so I need to start planning now rather than the week before.
