Used to do it myself but honestly the doorstep thing is tempting now

I've always been the type to buy my own battery from a parts shop and fit it in the basement parking with my own tools, saves a bit of money and it's not exactly rocket science. But last time it took me nearly two hours because the clamp bolt was seized and I ended up cutting my knuckle, and now that the battery in my Hilux is dying again I'm wondering if it's finally worth just paying someone. I'm thinking I'll visit Mobile Car Battery Replacement this time and let them handle it while I watch from a safe distance. For the DIY crowd here, did you eventually give up and switch to paying for the convenience or do you still do your own swaps? And for those who've used a service, do they let you keep the old battery or do they insist on taking it away? I usually sell mine to the scrap guy so I'm curious how that works.
